Wednesday Review | Benefit Roller Lash

If some of you guys are up to date with new beauty launches and such, you might have heard of Benefits new mascara, Roller Lash Mascara. The question is, is it really worth all the hype? Scroll down to find out!

The whole gimmick of this mascara is that you don’t need to curl your lashes–with an eyelash curler. The claims in the packaging say 97% say it visibly lifts lashes, 87% say it gives long-lasting curl and 94% say eyes looks more wide open.

The casing gets an A+ in the packaging department , as do other Benefit products! They always have the most dainty and cute packaging ever.

I think that these claims are partly true especially the whole visibly lifts lashes part and it does give that “UMPH” of curl to your lashes.  But the disappointing thing is that I felt that it didn’t really hold a curl long enough, compared if I used a lash curler. Another problem is that I keep getting a black eye when I apply my mascara because it is quite confusing trying to find out what way you should apply it in. I guess its all in mastering the art of putting on mascara–I never had this problem before.

When it comes to the formula, I think that its is comparable to other mascaras–Covergirl LashBlast Waterproof. It takes a bit longer to remove–I am guessing because it is waterproof. The idea that makes this product interesting is the uniquely designed wand.

But aside from that, I am all for this product. Benefit mascara’s never disappoint–to me at least.
