Holy Grail Sunday Makeup Look

I love Sundays. Its an excuse to look like you put no effort on your face or outfit. Sundays are best excuse to look not at your best. But for a makeup addicted girl like me, I choose to put something on my face for a bit of coverage. This post will be about my top picks for a no effort like of Sunday face that’ll get you through the weekly grocery, weekend markets and what not.

Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation Octinoxate Sunscreen in Classic Ivory 120

I already have a review on this exceptionally good and reasonable foundation on the blog. I will keep it short an sweet here. This foundation doesn’t give much coverage but it does protect you from the sun and all those rays.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory

The Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer is really creamy. Its price was quite reasonable–11 AUD. But I think I got the wrong shade for me but it really does its job of concealing and hiding those dark circles. I was convinced to get this product because I have seen vloggers like Tanya Burr, Zoella and Lily Pebbles try this and they said it was good for the price it came in–vloggers are always right!

Shu Uemura Face Powder in Colorless

From what I remember, this product wasn’t so cheap–2,4php I think. But I have been using this for more than a year now and it still hasn’t reached half of the casing!–no wonder! This is powder is light and practically weightless because all it does is take out that oily shine off your face!
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 02

If you compare this to other bronzers, you might notice that this is quite pale compared to other drugstore bronzers. I like how I can turn this bronzer into contour because of its versatile shade. I was so eager to buy this last year while I was in Sydney because of Essie Button ( Estee Lalonde). She kept saying that it was the best she had at that time and that its good for everyday use. When I got this, all I wanted to do was hold it high in my arms and never let it go.

Savvy Classic Blush in Silky Pink

This blush was a total bargain. I picked this up in Sydney–AGAIN! Sorry!. It was only about 3-5 AUD. I just got this as a leap of faith to try other drugstore brands. This shade just gives a nice wash pf pink on my cheeks. Its not at all striking in any way– I hate striking hot pink blush. This is more of a dainty shade of pink.

Maybelline New York Color Tattoo Leather in Silky Beige

The Maybelline Color Tattoo line has never disappointed me. They are affordable and reliable. Sadly, they only sell the glittery ones in the Philippines–from what Ive seen in stores. These products are completely incomparable to cream shadows of those from MAC, Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury. But not all of us have the funds to buy those pricy brands. So to me, Maybelline’s Color Tattoo is the best in the drugstore line.

Covergirl Clumpcrusher Extensions

The thing that separates this from my other mascaras is that, I feel this product really separates my lashes and combs them. And you only need 1 or 2 coats to make it light and lifted. Generally, all Covergirl mascaras are good. You just need to know what each mascara does what you want–because they have SO many kinds!

MAC Lip Lustre in Plumful

When I got this last January, it was a mission to find this product because every mac store ran out of it. I was persuaded to get this of beauty blogger EssieButton (Estee Lalonde) It is just so easy to wear and the color looks pretty striking at first but when applied, it becomes quite shear. It basically looks like a lip tint after application. This product is also put in the corner with all the best selling MAC lipsticks.
