Rimmel’s Pretty Plums | Which is Better?

Rimmel Apocalpse Lip Lacquer in 304 Eclipse and Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 107

It is quite obvious that Rimmel has their product quality on point! More so for their lip products. Personally, they have the best lip color ranges that match their great quality. They have quite a lot of shades and finishes to choose from as well. I wish they sold this in a store in the Philippines!

So lets start with the Rimmel Apocalpse Lip Lacquer in 304 Eclipse. Since this product is a lip lacquer, the finish upon application is a bit of a semi-matte, semi-gloss but there is quite an amount of transfer when I test it on my hand. So that means that its isn’t a long wearing lip product *queue sad face*. Although it is really comfortable to wear on the lips, it won’t last a whole day. But to each is own, some people prefer reapplying during the day. I do love the scent too! It isn’t too strong and it doesn’t linger.

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick in 107 (or this) It was this lipstick that opened my eyes to the world of Rimmel Lipsticks and also Zoella did help too. This lipstick in particular I really like because it has a matte finish. I don’t know if it is just me, but I think dark lip colors look better when they are matte. This is formula is quite creamy for a product that claims it is a long wearing matte formula because they do sometimes make your lips turn dry. But not this! This is definitely on my top shelf choices!

Is it obvious which lippie is my favorite?

Which one do you prefer?
