Some Light Reading | Bea’s Bookshelf

Untitled-1

I am not one who can name lines from Shakespeare or Oscar Wilde. Neither am I a literary genius or much of a bookworm. But when I have free time, I do enjoy some light reading.

I don’t say I am a bookworm because I like reading specific genres of books not everything. Don’t judge me but I prefer reading romantic or love stories because they usually give you this warm feeling at the end where the jitters just hit your stomach and make you feel so happy about the story–or maybe its just me.

So I am going to rate these books from 1-10. 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. But I will still attach an official review from goodreads.com.

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell 7.5/10

” I really loved the story line. I really didn’t expect the ending to happenย that way. Although I really liked that the ending was kind of open-ended and mysterious.”

Fan Girl by Rainbow Rowell 7/10

“I thought there was too much drama with those 2 boys. It could’ve been better. The ending was MEHH.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han 9/10

“This gave me too many butterflies. I found it both heartwarming and cheesy. But in the best way.”

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han 9/10

“I really didn’t want this books series to end. Such a unique story line. Not your usual girl meets boy and falls in love story.”

Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin 8/ 10

“Lets just say that the movie was so much better than the book. But you just fall in love with the characters characteristics and all.”
