This is actually my part two empties post! If you haven’t seen my skin care empties post, link is here!
This is my very first make up haul on the blog ever since I started last May 2015. I know, why haven’t I done it sooner? I have actually been collecting these in a designated bag for almost six months-I know, gross! Some of these products were great and some were well, just mediocre. Let’s get started!
The Body Shop Honey Bronzer– This bronzer actually started my obsession for bronzers in 2014. I love the controllable warmth and lasting power it gives but the packaging was a bit flimsy after a few months of having it.
Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder-I actually did a more extensive review of this product recently on this blog, link here! This powder is basically the best I have EVER had. It mattifies really flawlessly and locks in oiliness so well on the face. It also doesn’t have a tint to it, which means people of any color can use it!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz– Yes, I have finished two brow wiz’s from ABH! And I am not ashamed to say it! The product is really great. The narrow nib really does make a difference when lining my brows. This product is so good that I would repurchase it over and over again, not minding the pricetag. It is really worth it. And I love that they have a huge selection of colors to choose from to match all men and women.
Catrice Cosmetics Lash Brow Designer- I got this on a whim to see what difference it made to set my brows after applying a brow pencil. But with this specific brand, I didn’t exactly notice anything. Kinda average.
Bobbi Brown High Shimmer Lip Gloss– I was kind of disappointed with this lip gloss. It might be a personal preference but I prefer it if lip gloss’ aren’t sticky. The color is great and very versatile, but I just couldn’t get over its stickiness.
Clinique Chubby Stick– This product was my go to lippie that was always in my bag. It really did serve its purpose well. It was a reliable product to give a nude tint during lectures. I would definitely pick up another shade from this range.
Benefit They’re Real! Mascara– This has got to be one of the best mascaras I have ever tried. It gives great length and separation on my lashes. Its really buildable but I don’t know if this would be the best for those who don’t want such dramatic eyelashes- gimme some dramatic eyelashes!!
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara– I feel like this product was hyped so much that when I tried it, it was well…okay. It claimed to give an instant lift on lash application. But basically, it wasn’t what I expected. The pictures in adverts showed something much more dramatic. Although the formula was really good and waterproof. I feel I can get just as good results with a more affordable mascara in the drugstore-sorry!
Would love to hear from you!
