Miscellar Water War | Maybelline vs. Simple

A gentle makeup remover is definitely one of the most important things in a woman’s bathroom because it is the first thing they use at the of a loooong day. That feeling of grabbing a cotton pad and gently rubbing it all over your face is just….ugh. Refreshing! A lot of brands have started to come out with a bunch of their own versions of this and these are two that have stood out of all of them!

These two are quite similar in the bigger picture. I usually remove my makeup with a gentle cotton pad in all occasions. But the thing that probably separates these two have to be the price and a little bit of the smell. The Simple Micelllar Water has a bit of a cucumber smell mixed with something else that I can’t really point out. While the Maybelline Micellar Water has no scent at all. Which can either be a good or bad thing.

I noticed that the Simple brand stung a little when I tried to remove my eye makeup. But nothing super painful that I couldn’t handle. But with the Maybelline brand nothing…

These two are more on the drugstore price end but one is definitely cheaper than the other. Can you guess which one is it? Its the Maybelline!

If you are looking for any reason to not use this, there pretty much isn’t… it’s probably the cheapest and most gentle way of removing makeup. I have been using this for over a month and I have gotten no pimples or random spots.
