Tiny Ways to Help You Feel Better at Work


I definitely know the feeling, when you aren’t exactly raking it in at work when you know you can. There are other people in the office who (seem) like they have it all their shit together, so what am I doing wrong? Maybe being a career girl sometimes isn’t the easiest way rise in the field.

Stay Focused On You

TBH. In a face paced world, you are the only person who is going to look out for you. It is SO important to have goals and to track your development throughout your life. Sometimes your mentors don’t always have time to mentor you, so you have to take charge yourself!

Avoid Negativity

Criticism will weigh you down(for some), but you can take it as a compliment. Anyway, constructive criticism only makes you better. Being happy is a major plus! Employers and people in general like positive and smiling personalities!

Make Friends

When you’re new to a workplace, this can be the toughest thing to do. Because you’re trying to become a part of an existing well-established family. But make an effort with your colleagues, and see an instant improvement in your work life.

Make The Most of your Break

Chat with a friend, laugh and cry. Go out to grad your favorite slice. Gather yourself together if you’ve had a stressful day or letting your personal life bleed into your work. You’ll be so ready to take on work for the rest of the afternoon!
