Sephora Dupes!! | Liquid Lipstick and Lipsticks

We are always out looking for the next best dupe in the market. But before we head out to have a look, you might want to see what you already have because chances are that you already have the thing that you want.

Take a peek of what I found in my drawers that were Sephora dupes and drugstore dupes! I found a sheer, nude and plum dupe for you guys! Thank God that I found this because this means that I don’t need to go out and buy things I don’t need!

The Clinique ‘Pop Lip’ Color & Primer in Nude Pop has been in the market for awhile. I usually pair this with a dark nude lip pencil and apply this on top to make it look like it has a bit of depth and shimmer. The dupes of this mid range lippie could possibly be the L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Beige Sienna and Rimmel London Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick in Rosetto.

This Nude dupe isn’t much of a drugstore dupe. But it is still a dupe that you can match at Sephora(*wink). The Urban Decay Comfort Matte Lipstick in Stark Naked is sort of the fraternal twin sister of MAC’s Velvet teddy but it is a tad bit more orange. While the Bite Beauty Lip duo in Whisper makes a great pair! Sorry that I don’t have a link to this!

The Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita has got to be one of the brands best selling liquid lipsticks. Aside from it being a good quality liquid lippie, it is also VERY comfortable to wear! And I noticed after all this time that I had a dupe for this all along! A creamier dupe at that! The Bite Beauty Lip duo in Mystic is the ONE!

Top Must Haves for Summer 2017

Summer now among us! Well maybe most of us…

Here are a few bits that I like to keep in check whenever I head to the beach or travel to some place tropical.

A Versatile Bikini Top | I am a pretty basic girl. I don’t play much with prints as a whole and I love simple cuts. A solid black bikini top is always a good piece that you can mix and match with wilder prints and beachy textures. Its a bikini classic!

Cover up with some SPF! | I don’t know about you, but I wear SPF on the daily  to protect my skin from all those UV rays walking around but SPF is even more important when you are intentionally under the sun! Skip the tanning oil and cover up! Especially on your face!

A Hat | To me, there are 2 types of hats that I distinguish, a Straw Bucket Hat and a Baseball Cap. Two shapes but both have a single purpose.. to protect your face! Find what fits you!

Classic Sun Dress | Beach dresses are generally very versatile. They are made to make you look cute when you and wet and dry. Find the perfect dress design that you can just pull over your head or slide down your body.

Sunglasses | Sunnies are a must for those who have especially sensitive eyes. Protect your sight with some sunnies that can work both in the water and on the sand. I suggest getting one that won’t make your heart sink if you lose it in the ocean.

Beach Bag | There are hundred kinds of bags out there but a beach bag emulates something so carefree and laid back. Pick something up that you can grab to bring to the beach and chic enough to bring around an airport.

Miscellar Water War | Maybelline vs. Simple

A gentle makeup remover is definitely one of the most important things in a woman’s bathroom because it is the first thing they use at the of a loooong day. That feeling of grabbing a cotton pad and gently rubbing it all over your face is just….ugh. Refreshing! A lot of brands have started to come out with a bunch of their own versions of this and these are two that have stood out of all of them!

These two are quite similar in the bigger picture. I usually remove my makeup with a gentle cotton pad in all occasions. But the thing that probably separates these two have to be the price and a little bit of the smell. The Simple Micelllar Water has a bit of a cucumber smell mixed with something else that I can’t really point out. While the Maybelline Micellar Water has no scent at all. Which can either be a good or bad thing.

I noticed that the Simple brand stung a little when I tried to remove my eye makeup. But nothing super painful that I couldn’t handle. But with the Maybelline brand nothing…

These two are more on the drugstore price end but one is definitely cheaper than the other. Can you guess which one is it? Its the Maybelline!

If you are looking for any reason to not use this, there pretty much isn’t… it’s probably the cheapest and most gentle way of removing makeup. I have been using this for over a month and I have gotten no pimples or random spots.
