Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Lovely | The Review

Ever since Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with their range of Liquid Lipsticks, they have been dominating the makeup world by storm, with every long wearing shade at a time.

TBH, I am going to make this review short because I am currently writing to you while getting my highlights done and the G-Ma that I am forgot to bring her eyeglasses! I am BLIND ya’ll!

I have a lot of liquid lipsticks during my time in the blogosphere. Yet I am still in the search of the next best thing.

The ABH Liquid Lipstick in Hollywood is not one I would wear everyday but definitely one I would go back to when I am feeling ‘extra’.

The shade itself is a bit too bright for my taste. I feel that it doesn’t look amazing against my skin tone too. It also makes my teeth look more yellow than usual.

I would recommend this shade to more tan people. It would blend well with warm skin tones because against my pale skin it just stands out too much. *Sad face*

Product Empties | Disappointing Makeup

You that heart wrenching feeling when you finish the last drop or pump of your favorite hair care product or makeup? Yeah, I get that too. I know I love something when I finish a product completely till the drop! Because I am the type of person who doesn’t really give attention to products that I have no interest in and ends up giving them away instead.

There are definitely some products in this list that I keep on repurchasing again and again like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Medium Brown & the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer in 10 Light. But the rest of the products here are just as good! Which gives me even more reason to pick them up again!

Smashbox “Brow Tech” Matte Pencil in Light | Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil | Rimmel London Clear Complexion Radieux in 120 Transparent | Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Silky Beige | Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Natural | L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion | Davines Ol Absolute Beautifying PotionSebaMed Cleansing Foam | Dove Style+ Dry Shampoo | First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra Firm Sleeping Cream | L’Oreal Elseve Hair Oil | Pixi Natural Brow Duo in Brunette

Disappointing Products

I am known to never sugarcoat what I think about something (or someone). So when I dislike or uncomfortable with something I say it. Sadly, these products didn’t live up to my expectations.

Here are my reasons:

Sephora Lip Balm | I felt that it didn’t really benefit my lips in any way. Yes, it was a balm, but that’s all it was. It didn’t necessarily moisturize my lips in a way that any other balm couldn’t do.

Kiko Make Up Milano Lip Plumper | Lip plumpers have a bit of a (spicy) feeling when applied to the lips to help”plump” your lips. This one had that feeling but…it was a bit sticky for my taste.

Rimmel Apocalpse Lip Lacquer in 304 Eclipse | This one was well…meh! I wrote a blog post about it, link here

Revlon Colorburst in Candy Apple | This was one of the first lippies I got when I first started my makeup addiction, which was about 3-4 years ago. It already had a sticky consistency on application and I wasn’t into it.
