Bobbi Brown Liquid Liner Review & Swatch

DSC01443

The Bobbi Brown brand embraces natural beauty and owning your skin. There products range in all types of shades and finishes to perfectly fit all kind of women. This is what I love about this brand, its inclusivity.

This gel liner is for your everyday working girl. I think that this set would definitely help a makeup newbie know the technique in applying eyeliner. The liner pots come in a MINI pack, which I think is a better size than the standard because I am pretty sure that it ill dry up before I can even use up half of it!

The pots come in a Sepia and black shade. I personally like using the Sepia shade because it matches my skin better personally.

I wouldn’t say that this is the longest lasting gel liner though. I definitely don’t recommend you to rub your eyes when wearing this, unless you want to look like a raccoon. But the finish it gives is very natural. I have yet to try this at the gym but I am too scared to, tbh.

The application brush is ALRIGHT. Its not the best, but it does the job. I wish I had the time(and money) to buy a nice angled brush to apply it with but I guess this will have to do.

Yes, Brown Liners Do Exist

Nichido precise eyeliner in Chestnut with LORAC eyeshadow

Before I start rambling, please excuse my wonky eyelining skills, its because of my non existent 20/20 vision. Girl’s gotta practice!

For the past years, I haven’t been on my eyeliner game because I couldn’t cope putting it on for some reason. But I came to a point that I was so desperate to have one that I just kept on practicing with both liquid and pencil liners.

The brown liner I am using in this post was the Nichido precise eyeliner. I intended to buy this for my brows because the lady said that it was for brows but I felt like it was too red toned for me. So I tried it on as an eyeliner and it worked just perfectly! TA-DA!

So brown eyeliner is a way of intensifying your eye look but not making it such a huge statement.– If you are catching my drift. I personally like it because it brings out my green eyes. But not how a black liner does–there is a difference. Brown liner would be great to wear during most occasions for me because it goes well with formal and casual occasions with a Taupe brown matte eyeshadow to match. I usually wear this to school or when I have to present a project or anything in that sort.

I am the type of person who cares about what other people think. And sometimes I get too conscious of how I look when I wear black liquid liner that I feel everybody is judging me that I am wearing too much makeup. But when I wear this, I don’t get that feeling at all.

The kind of line I do is usually in this sort that shows a bit of a fleek at the ends but still shows body at the center. Although the fleek at the end may vary from different occasions. I also like to line my lower lash line a bit to accentuate my eyes for a more cohesive eye look–AKA I put effort in it.

Nichido is a VERY budget friendly product. I believe I bought this pencil for just over 100 pesos (2 US Dollars). So basically, everybody can have a go at it!
