Bobbi Brown Liquid Liner Review & Swatch

DSC01443

The Bobbi Brown brand embraces natural beauty and owning your skin. There products range in all types of shades and finishes to perfectly fit all kind of women. This is what I love about this brand, its inclusivity.

This gel liner is for your everyday working girl. I think that this set would definitely help a makeup newbie know the technique in applying eyeliner. The liner pots come in a MINI pack, which I think is a better size than the standard because I am pretty sure that it ill dry up before I can even use up half of it!

The pots come in a Sepia and black shade. I personally like using the Sepia shade because it matches my skin better personally.Β

I wouldn’t say that this is the longest lasting gel liner though. I definitely don’t recommend you to rub your eyes when wearing this, unless you want to look like a raccoon. But the finish it gives is very natural. I have yet to try this at the gym but I am too scared to, tbh.

The application brush is ALRIGHT. Its not the best, but it does the job. I wish I had the time(and money) to buy a nice angled brush to apply it with but I guess this will have to do.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Lovely | The Review

DSC01411

Ever since Anastasia Beverly Hills came out with their range of Liquid Lipsticks, they have been dominating the makeup world by storm, with every long wearing shade at a time.

TBH, I am going to make this review short because I am currently writing to you while getting my highlights done and the G-Ma that I am forgot to bring her eyeglasses! I am BLIND ya’ll!

I have a lot of liquid lipsticks during my time in the blogosphere. Yet I am still in the search of the next best thing.

The ABH Liquid Lipstick in Hollywood is not one I would wear everyday but definitely one I would go back to when I am feeling ‘extra’.

The shade itself is a bit too bright for my taste. I feel that it doesn’t look amazing against my skin tone too. It also makes my teeth look more yellow than usual.

I would recommend this shade to more tan people. It would blend well with warm skin tones because against my pale skin it just stands out too much. *Sad face*

L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation | The Review

DSC01328

Whenever I need to review a new base product, I always test them out a few weeks in advance to thoroughly review the Β product. With the L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation, right of the bat, I already knew that this product was an anti-aging product, which was a first for me, in terms of foundations.

It owns up to their claim that it erases fine lines, wrinkles and smoothens skin because upon application it almost felt like I was putting on a mattifying primer. It really looked like it smoothened my skin! Amazing!

But what I don’t get is the “Visible Lift” aspect. Maybe in the long run, if I use this product for the next 3 years, I might be able to see the ‘lift’ they were talking about. But I noticed no instant lift results on application.

Maybe it was the shade that I got, but I noticed that when I tried to apply this to cover my under eyes, all it did was emphasize it. Although I think it was because the shade I got had a blue undertone.

But in terms of consistency, this foundation easily blends on skin even if it isn’t the perfect match.

So should you get this foundation? Since this base is a bit on the pricey side of drugstore bases($14.99), maybe you should just grab the L’Oreal True Match Foundation.Β
